Allan Jardine
Managing Partner

Allan heads our Tokyo office and manages the Asia Pacific business. He has earlier co-founded Infinity Partners, a Japanese cross-border M&A boutique. Prior to that he founded and was the Principal of Altitude Partners LLC, a Tokyo-based corporate advisory firm which works with firms in the areas of restructuring, due diligence, turnaround as well post acquisition integration for major private equity firms in Japan. Prior to this, he was a board member and director of technology at Siemens in Japan, in a strategic role for incubation and implementation of new business and acquisitions. Following this he worked for Kessler Group, a specialist US investment bank where he managed their Asian expansion.

Allan holds a BA in Asian Business and an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK), has studied at Sophia (Tokyo) as well as at CEIBS (Shanghai) and is a graduate of the European Commission ETP Programme.

Dominic Marlow
Managing Partner

Dominic Marlow heads the UK operations of Sett & Lucas, based out of our office in London. Dominic is a veteran deal maker in mid-market, having vast experience across numerous sectors, having completed over 50 successful transactions, over the last 5 years. Dominic also has achieved success in working with start-ups, facilitating strategic joint ventures and long term exit planning by putting the principal at the heart of the relevant activity. Living in Oxford, he is located in the heart of the UK tech area, close to regional innovation parks, the Thames Valley and London.

Dominic has been a professional dealmaker since 2005, prior to that he held several senior strategic roles working for GKN, Britvic and executive consulting roles with Nestle and Coca Cola. This previous corporate background, coupled with more recent involvement in the middle market, gives him a remarkable insight into both large acquirers and middle market sellers. He has been very active in the Information Technology vertical and other consumer markets.

Donald Marshall
Managing Partner

Donald heads our business activities in the New England region. He is a seasoned technology industry executive with both Fortune 500 and start-up organizations. Having held senior management positions with Fujitsu, HP and Wang, in addition to board roles with Office Solutions, Champlain Software and Placement Technology, Donald brings a diversified background in High technology marketing and management to his role working with client organizations. Donald is a graduate of Boston College.

Gregory Winthrop
Managing Partner

Gregory has more than three decades of M&A and Institutional equities experience across US and Europe. He has held several senior positions with the Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Lloyds TSB and ING. He has led the technology vertical bulge bracket practice for several leading European investment banks in the past.

Currently, he drives the institutional equities group at Sett & Lucas with a focus in the US – Europe cross border corridor. Prior to Sett & Lucas, he was handling the High Yield capital markets practice at a leading investment bank in Frankfurt where he handled a hedge fund with an AUM of $1.5Bn. Greg has lived and worked across Germany, London, New York and Barcelona. He holds a degree in economics from the Oxford University and an MBA from the London business school.

Muthukumar Velumani
Vice President

Muthukumar (MK) manages the India operations of Sett & Lucas and is responsible for business development, relationship management and delivery of the clients processes. He has successfully done several large and medium size deals. In his previous stint with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), MK was the Transition and Integration Manager and was instrumental in successful transition of the global Investment banking processes in the target operating model, post-acquisition of ABN Amro Bank. He has worked across treasury, mortgage and interest rate derivatives driving change in ABN Amro and he was also instrumental in creating a platform for migrating the more complex Investment Banking Operations in ABN Amro by successfully leading the pilot for the Marco polo project based on which further migrations were done taking it the second largest team with about 1200 FTE in the ABN Central Processing unit. He holds a PGDBA in Finance and is also a CFA. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering.


Prabhu Antony
Senior Vice President

Prabhu Antony is currently a Sr. Vice President at the wall street office of Sett & Lucas in New York, he is a specialist in cross border M&A and Private Equity. He has consummated M&A deals valued over $3Bn in transaction value, across 6 continents and 22 countries. He has been awarded the '40 under 40 Deal Maker’ for his excellence in driving M&A transactions in the Information Technology vertical, by the industry consortium 'The M&A Advisor forum'. M&A transactions led by him have consistently been ranked among the top cross border and technology transactions by various industry consortiums in the US, over the last 10 years. His sector expertise includes IT services, enterprise products and consumer internet. He also heads the fund management group at Sett & Lucas. As part of this role, he currently manages Linus Ventures, a Princeton headquartered $100 M venture fund focused in consumer markets. He sits on the board of directors of portfolio companies and helps drive strategy, corporate finance and global expansion.

Prior to his stint with Sett & Lucas, he was the Vice President at MAPE Group, a top M&A advisory firm in Asia, where he was the head of Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) vertical and the US-Asia cross border M&A practice. Prior to joining MAPE, Prabhu had worked for more than 7 years in the technology sector for blue chip companies such as Cognizant, i-flex and Oracle where he managed corporate & business development, corporate strategy and M&A initiatives across London, US and India. He holds a bachelors degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering, a masters in business administration and a Post Graduate diploma in International business. He is an alumni of the Wharton school of the University of Pennsylvania and attended Harvard Business School to pursue his passion in the field of Disruptive Innovation.


Robert Brown
Managing Partner

Robert Brown heads our office in Perth and is a Managing Partner at Sett & Lucas - Australia. Robert has more than two decades of experience in international business and M&A. Robert has expertise in valuation, financial succession, acquisition, joint venture and strategic business development. Robert's passions include lecturing to Master's students at leading Australian universities in International Business Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions. Robert has a PhD, Masters in HRM, Post graduate Diploma in Business & Administration, Diploma Business (Business Agent). He also has a Diploma of Auditing and is a Certified Trainer & Assessor.


Steven Malin
Managing Partner

Steven Malin heads the M&A business at Sett & Lucas and is based out of the New York office. Steven is an executive manager with extensive experience in the financial services industry that includes Institutional Equities and Mergers & Acquisition. He is a respected industry authority in Macro economic trends and Geopolitical issues.

Prior to joining Sett & Lucas, Steven co-founded AB Watley, the wall street securities brokerage firm. As the Chairman and CEO for over 20 years of the firm, he was responsible for corporate growth and strategy, developing business in new markets and implementing policy. He began his career at Tullett Prebon, as a derivatives broker in their Tokyo office. Tullett Prebon is known as the world's leading inter dealer brokers, while employed there he gained extensive experience in analyzing the equity and derivative markets and advising companies on global portfolio management.


Tacis P. Gavoyannis
Managing Partner

Tacis is a managing partner in our office in London. He has more than 25 years of experience in business strategy, corporate development and international business development in the telecoms and data coms sectors, having worked in a range of senior management roles for British Telecom International, Motorola, Cable & Wireless, Mercury Communications, RR Donnelley, De La Rue Systems Ltd, Callahan Broadband Wireless Inc., Orange PLC, TNS PLC and Ipsos.

Tacis’ sector expertise covers fixed and mobile communications, cable, broadband and internet. He has played key roles in strategy and roll ups of operations for both GSM and WILL licenses. In addition, he has set up operational divisions in a number of European countries for mobile and wireless local loop start-ups through incubation and M&A. His current role includes advising large corporations on Corporate development and incubation of investment ideas in Smart Grid and Smart Cities concepts.

Tacis is a futurologist and researcher able to bring value to technology players worldwide. He is a Fellow of the RSA, a board member of Living PlanIT and a mentor with Springboard in Cambridge.


Yoram Michaelis
Managing Director

Yoram heads our Tel Aviv office and manages the Enterprise Products M&A practice. He is a specialist in information technology related M&A, Corporate Development and strategic advisory. He is a visionary entrepreneur and M&A specialist with around 32 years of experience in senior leadership roles in building businesses, handling corporate and client leadership roles. He also manages extensive C-level relationships at European, Asia Pacific and Israeli companies in finance, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, communications and insurance sectors.

Prior to this, he was the President of NessPRO and the Executive Vice President at Ness Technologies, currently a Citigroup subsidiary. He was handling corporate strategy and M&A related activities consummating transactions across Europe, Asia and the Americas. He currently advises technology enterprises looking to expand their M&A, software distribution, strategic planning and global expansion.
